After more than 12 years of service to the geodetic community TCG was discontinued at the beginning of 2008. We simply didn't have the time to keep it up. We didn't even get time to let people know. Most journals now provide their own contents service so our service was becoming redundant anyway. See the journal pages in TCG for links to the publishers' services.
We appreciate all the support our subscribers and the publishers have given us over the years. This Summer we will consider reviving TCG again but only for those journals without their own on-line contents. We can probably handle half a dozen journals. For the other journals we will simply provide links to their contents. If we do bring TCG back on-line we will make an announcement on the CANSPACE mailing list.

Tables of contents are now posted to the CANSPACE mailing list as soon as we recieved them. For many journals, this often occurs through publisher email lists well in advance of the availability of the print version of the journal. However, in most of these cases the articles are usually available on-line at the time we post the tables of contents.
To monitor when the print version of a journal has been received by our library (and presumably available at about the same time elsewhere), TCG readers can monitor this web page for changes using a Web page monitoring service or software. The full URL to use when monitoring this Web page is: http://www3.sympatico.ca/craymer/tcg/. Two popular Web page monitoring services are

Beware: we sometimes modify the HTML for this page which will cause most Web page monitoring services and software to notify you of the change. We will try our best to coordinate any HTML changes to coincide with our posting of new issues or other important changes to the Web site in order to avoid any unnecessary notifications. To further help, we will also put a short explanation of any changes after the "Last Revised" tag in the header.
